Reinsurance Accountant - Accounting (Bangkok)

As a Reinsurance Accountant, you'll be Responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting of reinsurance - this includes the booking of reinsurance premiums and losses, financial reporting and cash clearing and settlement

Responsibility

  • Responsible in related reinsurance accounting transaction.
  • Reconcile reinsurance report and others detail support account balance.
  • Prepare and record journal entry of reinsurance for month-end closing.
  • Support reinsurance’s data for relevant department and external auditor.
  • Prepare and submit reinsurance information to the OIC.
  • Review reinsurance premium and claim settlement transaction before payment.
  • Prepare reinsurance reports according to agreed treaty and communicate and coordinate with reinsurers.
  • Monthly/Quarterly statement preparation and sending it across to reinsurers/brokers.

Qualification

- Degree qualified in an Accounting or Finance

- 1-2 years' experience within finance relating to tax reporting or accounting field.

- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)

- A good team player, initiative, good interpersonal, and time management.
